Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the “درجة” platform.
1. Definitions
In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
“The Platform”: It refers to the “درجة” electronic platform, owned by Digital Rivers Information Technology Foundation, and all its services and content available through our website.
“The user” or “you”: Every natural or legal person who creates an account and uses the platform's services.
“"Content": All educational materials, including but not limited to, videos, texts, images, files, exercises, and assessments, are available on the platform.
“"Conditions": These terms and conditions and all policies attached to them.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using or registering on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately. You also certify that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account.
You undertake to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information upon registration, and to keep it up to date.
You are prohibited from sharing your account with anyone else. Each account is for personal use only.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities without prior notice.
4. License to Use
The Platform grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial purposes only, subject to these Terms and the Course Plan you have purchased.
5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
All payments are processed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) through secure and approved payment gateways. Prices are as advertised. For details regarding refunds, please refer to our "Refund Policy" on our website, which is an integral part of these terms and conditions. درجة reserves the right to set prices in accordance with its platform policy and strategy.
Subscriptions section
Types of subscriptions
The درجة platform offers flexible subscription plans that allow the customer to choose the duration that suits them, and currently includes (durations may change later for new subscribers):
- A monthly subscription that is automatically renewed every (30) days.
- Quarterly subscription (every 3 months) that is automatically renewed every (90) days.
- A semi-annual subscription (every 6 months) that is automatically renewed every (180) days.
Automatic renewal and withdrawal from card account
5.1.2.1 The subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the specified period, and the fees are deducted directly from the payment method registered with the customer.
5.1.2.2 The customer is notified before the automatic debit process via email or the communication method registered in his account.
5.1.2.3 In case of insufficient funds or payment failure, the “درجة” team reserves the right to suspend or temporarily disable the service until the payment process is successfully completed.
Subscription Management
5.1.3.1 The customer can manage or cancel the subscription through their account on the platform at any time before the next renewal date.
5.1.3.2 In case of cancellation, the customer will continue to benefit from the services until the end of the current subscription period, and no additional amounts will be deducted thereafter.
Pricing and Offers Policy
5.1.4.1 The platform may offer special deals or discounts on subscriptions from time to time, and prices are calculated according to the selected period after the discount is applied.
5.1.4.2 In the event of a change in subscription prices, the customer shall be notified at least (7) days before the next renewal date, with the right to cancel the subscription before the new price takes effect.
Approve automatic discount
5.1.6.1 By completing the subscription process, the customer expressly agrees that the subscription fee will be automatically deducted according to the selected period without the need for additional confirmation each time.
5.1.6.2 Automatic deduction is used to provide convenience for the student and enable him to focus on lessons and tests without being preoccupied with payments or having to stop the account to pay every time.
5.1.6.3 The customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the payment data and the continued validity of the payment method associated with his account.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
At درجة, we are committed to ensuring learner satisfaction and providing a high-quality educational experience. Our return policy varies depending on the type of product or educational service and is subject to the following conditions:
Pre-recorded courses
5.2.1.1 The value of registered (pre-registered) courses is non-refundable after purchase.
5.2.1.2 Exceptional refund requests may only be considered in the following cases:
- The presence of a clear technical flaw in the videos or content prevents their use.
- There is a substantial lack of content in the agreed-upon and advertised course description.
Live (live) courses
5.2.2.1 The amount can be refunded within 7 days from the date of purchase if the student does not start the first live lesson.
5.2.2.2 After the first live lesson has started, the student is not entitled to request a refund for any reason, given that the educational service has actually begun to be provided.
Downloadable materials
5.2.3.1 Once downloaded or accessed downloadable educational materials (such as files or summaries), the product is considered consumed and the user is not entitled to a refund.
5.2.3.2 This excludes only cases where the user proves that there is a clear technical problem preventing him from downloading or using the content.
General exceptions
5.2.4.1 The درجة platform reserves the right to refuse any refund request in the event of misuse, fraud, or violation of the terms of use.
5.2.4.2 All requests are subject to review in accordance with the platform’s anti-fraud policy.
Return request submission process
5.2.5.1 To submit a refund request, the user must contact the technical support team via the “Contact Us“ page on the official website.
5.2.5.2 The request must include the transaction or invoice number and the reason for the refund request.
5.2.5.3 The request will be reviewed and responded to within a period not exceeding 7 working days from the date of receipt.
Policy amendment
5.2.6.1 The درجة platform may update its refund policy from time to time in accordance with local regulations and the development of educational services.
5.2.6.2 Any new amendment will be posted on this page and continued use of the platform after the amendment constitutes implicit acceptance of the updated policy.
Payment methods and collection methods
Approved payment methods
5.3.1.1 All payments on the درجة platform are made through secure, approved, and licensed electronic payment gateways authorized by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
5.3.1.2 Accepted payment methods include:
- Apple Pay, and others if available such as Google Pay and Samsung Pay. .
- Bank cards (Mada, Visa, Mastercard).
- Approved electronic wallets, when available.
- Bank transfer when available.
5.3.1.3 The درجة platform does not retain any sensitive customer banking data, as payments are processed through authorized payment service providers in accordance with the highest security standards (PCI DSS).
Transaction security
5.3.2.1 The درجة platform is committed to using modern security and encryption protocols to ensure the confidentiality and security of data during the payment process.
5.3.2.2 In the event of any suspected unauthorized activity or hacking attempt, the platform reserves the right to suspend or temporarily halt the payment process to protect the user.
Payment confirmation and invoicing
5.3.3.1 After successful payment, an electronic confirmation notification and a digital invoice are sent to the email address registered in the customer's account.
5.3.3.2 The electronic invoice is legal proof of the completion of the transaction, and the customer can refer to it at any time through his account on the platform.
Payment failed
5.3.4.1 If the payment process fails for any reason (such as card expiry or insufficient funds), the customer will be notified immediately via email or in-account notifications.
5.3.4.2 In this case, the درجة team reserves the right to temporarily suspend service until the payment process is successfully completed.
Discounts and promotional offers
5.3.5.1 The platform may offer discounts or promotional codes at certain times, and these will only be applied when entered correctly during the checkout process.
5.3.5.2 Discounts or promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash value, and are not applied after the payment process has been completed.
6. Code of Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform for any activity that would:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Post or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform's systems or other users' accounts.
- Reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or publicly display the Content without our express written permission.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All intellectual property rights relating to the platform and content, including the “درجة” trademark, logos, designs, text, and software, are the exclusive property of Digital Rivers Information Technology Establishment or its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to use them except under the limited license stated in clause 4.
7.2 Unless otherwise stipulated in the agreement, all materials and content provided by third-party trainers are their own property and they may delete the content with prior agreement with “درجة” in a manner that does not conflict with the subscriptions or academic achievement of the participating students and does not affect their educational path during the course or private lessons.
7.3 “درجة” has the right to full “administrative” control of the content in accordance with the platform’s policy and strategy, and does not have the right to own it unless otherwise agreed.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Platform Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, nor do we guarantee that you will achieve specific results from using the Content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Rivers Information Technology Establishment will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
9. Compensation
You agree to indemnify and defend Digital Rivers Information Technology Establishment, its employees and agents against any claims, losses, damages or liabilities (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your use of the platform.
10. Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your use of the platform signifies your consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
10.1 Retention of personal data
We are committed to retaining your personal data only for as long as necessary to process requests or as required by law. The following are the retention periods that apply to data:
- Retention of inactive accounts: 3 months.
- Order holding time: 3 days.
- Retention of failed orders: 3 days.
- Retention of cancelled orders: 3 days.
- Retention period for completed orders: Two years.
- Retention of expired subscriptions: Two months.
- Retention of refunded orders (refunded orders): Their data is retained indefinitely for legal and financial compliance purposes.
11. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on this page, including the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Termination
درجة may terminate or suspend your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to, if you violate these terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all educational, commercial, technical, tax, judicial, and other matters. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts to resolve any dispute that may arise.
